Gatlinburg bed and breakfast spring wildflowers

Meandering by our creek at Whisperwood Farm with the Australian Shepherds...this is a preview of the purple landscape of flowers in late March and early April. I'm just learning how to use the phone camera...they are so much more beautiful to see in person! We are glad to pack you a lunch for a wildflower walk in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, so ask to borrow a pack and brown bag it to a waterfall! By the way, none of the dogs come inside the inn! We are having a new litter in April we think if you are looking for a farm raised pup.

Valentine Special at Creekwalk Inn

Looking for a romantic weekend in February to celebrate with your Valentine? Yes, that is a rose they are carrying, sorry Keva has it in her mouth!
Bring your sweetheart and we will make sure the rose doesn't get eaten by the Australian shepherds!

Hawks and Falconry alive and well with Dr. Gil

Dr. Gil brings his love of falconry to Whisperwood Farm and Creekwalk Inn!
Walking on the trail at Big Creek in the snow was snowy and fun, great photos of our favorite swimming hole! Be sure to return in the summer when you can jump in and cool off. This hike is just 1.5 miles in and about a 20 minute drive from the farm, and the Mouse Creek Falls above the swimming hole is about 2 miles in. We are close to many trailheads in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and have hiking maps and guide books for your use free.

Gatlinburg Bed and Breakfast plays in the snow!

Filet mignon on the grill, anyone?

Warming up by the fireside at Creekwalk Inn makes a snowy 3 degree day in January an amazing adventure. Here are some of the menu items for our buffet last weekend. I actually found time to take a few photos of our quiche, family recipe for sweet rolls, original stuffed mushroom recipe, and smoothies. We knew Nick wished in the snow and had a fun weekend celebrating
a very special wedding event and the gathering of a family from around the world in our Tennessee mountains. Our best wishes to Abby and Nick as they begin their life together--real jet setters-- Abby and Nick are both pilots!
